What is Love Hunt?
ninemsn's Love Hunt is a game of skill and love. You play with one or many partners of your choice to accumulate points. The highest-scoring couple and the highest-scoring individual are shown on the live scoreboard.

Can I play Love Hunt on my own?
No, you must play with a partner that you select through Love Hunt. However, you can play with as many partners as you like, so you can gain a higher individual score.

How do I play?
You must register with Love Hunt by following the instructions on the how it works page.

How many questions will I be asked in each round?
Three questions are sent to both you and your partner in each round. The same questions are sent to you both. You can opt for another round of questions by sending the command AGAIN.

How do I score points in Love Hunt?
Love Hunt players receive points according to the following rules:
• both players in a couple answer correctly – 100 points each
• both players in a couple answer incorrectly with the same answer –  10 points each
• both players in a couple answer incorrectly and differently – 0 points each
• one player answers correctly – 10 points to the correct player , 0 points to the incorrect player

Do I have to use big letters or can I use small letters?
You should always try to use small letters (lower case).

How do I play quickly with a minimum of messages?
Register onlinefor the quickest way to get up and running.

or Register via SMS. The commands you must SMS to 188 7454 are:
REG [your nickname]

[your sex, your age]
Example: ME F 21
MATCH (this will list three partners to PICK from)

How much does it cost?
To use the ninemsn Love Hunt service you will be charged $0.75 (includes GST) for each message you send by SMS. The $0.75 will be charged directly to your mobile phone bill.

Why can't I find anyone to MATCH with?
When using the MATCH command, Love Hunt shows you available partners only. If there are currently no un-matched partners available that match your regisetered profile, you won't be able to match with anyone. We suggest you wait a short time and try again.

Is my privacy protected?
Yes, your privacy is protected. All Love Hunt users remain anonymous.

How can you charge $0.75 to my mobile?
Now there’s a new way to pay for content and services (like Love Hunt) on your mobile.

While regular, ‘standard’ SMS prices are similar to the cost of a local phone call – (costing approx. $0.20 per message sent or received), ‘premium’ SMS prices are more like a ‘1900’ number –  you could be charged (depending on the service) anything from $0.55 to $5.

Charging your costs straight to your mobile bill means it’s now simple and convenient to access a whole range of services from your mobile.

If you’re a pre-paid Telstra customer, you can’t use this service at present.
